President of Edward Waters College continues to strengthen recruitment.
“When you look at historically black colleges and universities, it’s a perfect fit for a large population of our students,” Glover said. “Incidentally, there seems to be a prevailing understanding that we’re only talking about African-American students, but that’s not the case. We really do believe there’s a class of student out there that’s a great fit for an HBCU, and we create an environment for them that will allow them to be successful. It’s a nurturing environment.”
